SUPPORTING FUTURE GENERATIONS

Game Change Enablers is fuelled by a passionate belief that we can and must do better for future generations.

We know that climate change is real and if action is not taken then subsequent generations will be living in a very different and materially degraded world.  For many of us it is difficult to take meaningful action.

The devastating bushfires of 2019-20 prompted a group of like-minded people to do something.  We formed a community and called ourselves the Game Change Enablers (GCE). We aligned ourselves with the ANU’s Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions (ICEDS) to establish the Game Change Fund to provide support to students from the emerging generation who are working on solutions to climate change and its impacts.

The Fund will provide ANU students undertaking a PhD related to climate change with an annual scholarship.  Preference will be given to students from the emerging generation who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, from Pacific Island nations or from rural and remote areas.

The Fund will be game changing for the environment and for the students who receive the scholarship. Every dollar raised will go directly to the scholarships with no administration costs extracted.

As a Game Change Enabler you will hear directly from the ICEDS, be invited to their events, have the chance to meet with scholarship recipients, follow their research and potentially mentor them and become a member of our GCE private Facebook community.

We encourage you to become a Game Change Enabler today by donating to the Game Change Fund.  Donating is easy - simply click on the link below - and follow the prompts. All donations are tax deductible.
